Here is a lamp I worked on. The base was found on the streets of Madison, Wisconsin. I built the lampshades by building wire frames,  adding re-hydrated dried kombucha culture. When the  culture dries it creates a translucent leather-like filter for the light, reminiscent of an autumn sunset.
